If you are interested in having Sam as your doula, she would love to meet with you and any of your support team to answer any questions you might have. The first consultation will always be free as it is a chance to get to know each other and the packages available. If you are finding yourself in need of care but in a tender financial situation, Sam is available to work on a sliding scale as she believes each woman deserves the nurturing love and support through her journey into and after labor.
Prenatal Guidance:
One hour sessions focusing on the needs of the mother and/or her partner during pregnancy. These sessions include a follow up e-mail with resources and suggestions that are in relation to the specific skills and techniques used in the Prenatal Guidance session. These sessions are valuable if you have yet to decide on a doula but are in need of information, body work, someone to talk to, holistic advice, or have questions about your upcoming birth and birthing plan.
Drive By Doula:
If you find that you are in need of doula support during labor but not prenatally, I am available to accompany you and your birthing partners through labor. This service includes one postpartum visit.
Package 1:
– 4 Prenatal visits- including body work,resources,
– 2 Postpartum visits
– Labor support
– Text/Call support between 10am-9pm throughout pregnancy
– An on call period starting 2 weeks before your due date
– Non-professional photos of birth available upon request
Package 2:
– 2 Prenatal visits
– 1 Postpartum visit
– Labor support
– Text/Call support between 10am-9pm throughout pregnancy
– An on call period starting 2 weeks before your due date
– Non-professional photos of birth available upon request
Additional Postpartum Visits:
Postpartum visits can include but are not limited to light housework, alternative medicine support, body work, baking and meal preparation, family support, and overnight stays (minimum 5 hours).
